General questions
What kind of payment methods do you accept?
When ordering, you choose your payment method yourself. Payment is via PayPal PLUS (direct debit, credit card or invoice is possible), Amazon Payments (payment via Amazon account), payment in advance (bank transfer) or payment by cash on delivery (cash on delivery). If you order in advance by phone, you can pick up the goods directly from us and pay cash.
To which countries do you ship the goods?
We deliver within Germany as well as to all countries which are member of the European Union.
What do I have to comply with when disposing batteries?
Note regarding disposal of old batteriesThe following note is intended for anyone who uses batteries, or products with inbuilt batteries, and who does not resell them in their delivered form (end users):
1. Free collection of old batteries
Batteries may not be disposed of in household waste. You are legally obligated to return old batteries so that appropriate disposal can be guaranteed. You can dispose of old batteries at a communal collection point or at a local dealer. We, as a distributor of batteries, are obligated to accept the return of old batteries, whereby our obligation to take back old batteries is limited to those which we carry as new batteries in our range, or have carried in the past. Old batteries of the aforementioned types can be returned to us, either by postal mail with sufficient postage or Send them directly to our dispatch warehouse at the address stated in the imprint free of charge.
2. Meaning of the battery symbols
Batteries are marked with a symbol showing a crossed out waste bin (s.b.). This symbol indicates that batteries may not be thrown in household waste. On batteries which have more than 0.0005 percent by weight of mercury, more than 0.002 percent by weight of cadmium or more than 0.004 percent by weight of lead, under the garbage can symbol can be found the chemical symbol of each respective pollutant – "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Pb" stands for lead and "Hg" stands for mercury.

How can I order in your online shop?
Select the desired product from our online shop, choose how many items you wish to purchase in the appropriate field and click the button "add to basket". You will go directly to the shopping basket, where you still can make changes. Click “continue shopping” to add more items to the basket. Once you have finished the shopping, go to your shopping basket and select “check out” to complete your order. If you are a new customer, you can simply register yourself or choose to complete your order as a guest buyer. If you wish to complete your order with your Amazon account, simply select the corresponding button. You also have the opportunity to continue your shopping by clicking "continue shopping", which will lead you back to our online shop.
How do I view my shopping basket?
In our online shop you will find in the upper right corner a basket. Next to the basket you will see a number, which indicates how many items are in your basket. Just move your mouse over the icon, click and view your shopping basket. The new opened page will show you the items, an image, number of items selected as well as the price. Furthermore, you can see the total price of your shopping so far.
If you wish to complete the order, simply click “check out”. This will lead you to the shopping basket directly. There you still can change the items. Once you are happy with all you can then select payment and complete your purchase.
How do I complete my order?
If you have put all your desired items in your shopping basket, click “check out” and you will go directly to register. If you are already a customer, please log on with your e-mail address and password. As a new customer please register or request guest buyer. Once registered you can see the billing as well as the delivery address. These can be edited. Continue the process by clicking “next” and select the payment method. Then choose your preferred shipping method. After that click “next “ again and you will be able to review your order again as well as all information on billing and shipping address. Complete the order by clicking “buy now”. You now are liable to pay and purchase your order.
In my shopping basket is an option "pay with Amazon". What does that mean?
If you are an Amazon customer and registered with this store, you have the option to pay with your Amazon account. Enjoy Amazon’s secure transactions, the A-Z guarantee for the purchased items, the fast delivery options and on top of that Amazon will not pass any unnecessary details to us. Simply select "pay with Amazon" and follow instructions.
In my shopping basket is an option " PayPal express check out". What does that mean?
PayPal express check out allows you to access your PayPal account directly. Click the PayPal express check out button and get to your PayPal log in details. Log in, confirm purchase – done. No need to enter your personal data - all the necessary information is taken directly via PayPal from us. You will be taken immediately to the purchase completion page. If you wish to change the delivery address, simply use the option there. Payment will be taken directly from your PayPal account.

What does PayPal PLUS payment mean?
PayPal PLUS combines the four most popular methods of payment for fast purchase processing - PayPal, direct debit, credit card and purchase on account. You can pay directly in the order processing - even without PayPal account. Your shipment will be sent to you latest next working day. With this payment option you can get your items as fast as possible.
What does Amazon account payment mean?
Pay with your Amazon account quickly and safely. Complete your purchases without entering your shipping or billing information each time. Enjoy Amazon’s secure transactions, the A-Z guarantee for the purchased items, the fast delivery options and on top of that Amazon will not pass any unnecessary details to us. Simply select "pay with Amazon" and follow instructions. (not including gift voucher).
What does bank transfer payment mean?
If you want to settle the invoice amount by transfer - via bank transfer - choose this in the order processing and you will receive all relevant information (bank details and purpose). You transfer the invoice amount less 2% cash discount to our account in advance. Please make sure that your payment is transferred with the correct purpose, so your payment can be assigned immediately upon receipt. Please note that a transfer may take up to 4 business days. Your order will be sent to you latest next working day after receipt your payment.
How does cash on delivery work?
Your shipment will be shipped to you latest next working day after receipt of your order. Payment by cash on delivery is only possible in combination with a parcel delivery type (DHL/UPS). In the case of DHL, the courier charges an additional fee of 2, - Euro. There is no additional charge for UPS cash on delivery. NOTE: Only possible for a delivery address within the Federal Republic of Germany.
Can I pick up the item and pay cash?
You pick up the goods from us at 99752 Bleicherode, Löwentorstraße 40 and pay the invoice amount in cash. Please call us for an appointment by e-mail: info@highlight-led.de or by phone ( +49 36 338 / 59889-00) with us. A pick-up is generally only possible between 10:00 and 16:00 from Monday to Friday on business days.

How long is delivery within Germany?
Unless longer delivery times are stated in the item description, the shipping within Germany is 1-3 days, there may be delays due to bank holidays or weekends. Please contact our customer center (+49 36338 5988900) if you have not received the goods, except in the case that a longer delivery time is indicated in the item description, within 5 days after payment.
How long is delivery within the European Union?
Unless longer delivery times are stated in the item description, the shipping within the European Union countries is 2-7 days, there may be delays due to bank holidays or weekends. Please contact our customer center (+49 36338 5988900) if you have not received the goods, except in the case that a longer delivery time is indicated in the item description, within 10 days after payment.
Can I track my item delivery?
You will receive a tracking code only when you select shipping with DPI - "DHL", DPA - "DHL International" and UPS - "UPS package". When using these shipping methods you will receive a tracking number by email when you have completed the order. Simply follow the link and find out, where your item is.
How do I use a voucher?
I have received a voucher. How and where can I redeem it? And how many times can I use this?
A highlight LED voucher can only be used once. You can redeem the voucher at the end of your order process. When checking the summery, before committing to the order, you have the possibility to use your voucher. Click on “redeem voucher”, enter the voucher code and you receive the discount straight away.
