Relay
The term "relay" refers to electromagnetic or electromechanical switches used to activate, toggle, and deactivate electrical circuits. Various types are available depending on the application. These include compact impulse switches and impulse relays designed for junction and switch boxes, as well as models for DIN-rail mounting in electrical distribution boards. The product range is complemented by installation relays, staircase lighting timers, and digital time switches for a wide variety of switching and control tasks in electrical installations.
Current impulse switches & installation relays
Impulse switches, often also referred to as impulse relays or impulse relays, enable convenient control of a circuit using several buttons. The relay changes its switching state with each switching pulse. This technology is suitable, for example, for lighting systems in which a light needs to be switched from several locations. Typical areas of application can be found in hallways, stairwells, living rooms, office buildings or commercial areas. Depending on the version, the devices can be installed in switch and junction boxes or on a DIN rail in the distribution box.
Installation relays also take on important switching tasks within modern electrical installations. They make it possible to reliably switch electrical consumers and to separate control circuits from the load circuits to be switched. Different contact and circuit variants offer suitable options for numerous applications. Whether lighting, building technology or other electrical consumers – relays for electrical installations ensure a compact and clear implementation of a wide range of switching functions.
Staircase light switches & timers
A stairwell light switch for the DIN rail enables time-dependent control of the lighting in stairwells, hallways, entrance areas or shared building areas. After pressing a button, the lighting is switched on and automatically switched off again after a preset time. This means the light only stays on for as long as it is actually needed. Mounting on the DIN rail in the control cabinet or distributor enables space-saving and clear integration into the electrical installation.
Digital time switches for the DIN rail offer even more extensive options for time-dependent control. They allow electrical consumers to be switched on and off automatically according to individually defined switching times. Depending on the model, daily or weekly programs can be set up, for example. Typical applications include the time-controlled switching of lighting systems, outdoor lighting, pumps, ventilation systems or other electrical consumers. Together with impulse relays, installation relays and stairwell light switches, digital timers form a versatile basis for convenient and needs-based switching solutions in residential buildings, businesses and building technology.
